The Municipal Defense Council (CDM) urged to increase the control in air transportation at the Rafael Cabrera Mustelier airport, regulate the exits and entrances to the town, taking into account the epidemiological situation that the western provinces present and the behavior of the pandemic in the country.
Liván Fuentes Álvarez, CDM vice president, pointed out in a recent meeting at the government headquarters, that in coordination with the Ministry of Transportation it was decided to prioritize only humanitarian flights for the shipment of samples from people suspected of Covid-19 and very specific cases.
For this reason, a smaller capacity plane is retaken for the Special Municipality, which will only move samples and those people with medical shifts in Havana, such as some pine trees stranded in other territories, who must comply with the established quarantine period in their homes.
Such operations are carried out with measures of physical isolation and disinfection of Cubana de Aviación personnel and passengers.
